Chicago-based Actor / Violinist

What’s going on here?

This is an experiment. I’ve been wanting to redesign my site for at least three years now, but haven’t made the time. I also haven’t come up with a brilliant new design, so I keep stalling. At the same time, I keep wanting to post new content: interesting things I find while trolling the intertubes. But the static nature of my site has been preventing that. The other night I thought: quickly put together a simple site using WordPress, and give it a good, basic, rough styling. Then keep tweaking it until I find what I’m after. There are surely designers out there who would think I haven’t thought through what I want. And they’d be right. But it’s my site, and when was the last time you redesigned your site, anyway? Everybody’s talking about how old it is.

Tools: the aforementioned WordPress (bleeding-edge here with 2.7 Release Candidate 1). The fantastic Sandbox CSS playground. And to get going, I adapted Will Wilkins’ Moo-Point design.
